Do your children want to learn to play tennis?
Windsor Lawn Tennis Club welcomes all to the sport, juniors being no exception. We have many schemes and events running throughout the year for our junior members, this page highlighting some of the key ideas.
WHICH GROUP IS FOR YOU?
- LITTLE ACES: 3-4 years of age (sponge balls, co-ordination, movements plus lots of fun)
- MiNI RED: 4-8 years (red ball, very low bounce.
- MINI ORANGE: 8-9 years (orange ball, low bounce).
- MINI GREEN: 10 years (green ball, lower bounce than normal ball).
- DEVELOPMENT: 10-16 years (normal ball, for the keen tennis player).
- PERFORMANCE: 10-18 years (experienced level for the committed player).

ARIEL MINI TENNIS SCHEME
We facilitate the Ariel Mini Tennis scheme which encourages children to get involved in the sport from a young age. Starting at Mini Tennis Red (where players have small courts, short racquets and really soft balls), as they grow older they progress through Orange (bigger court with a quicker ball), to Green (fast ball, full size court). This helps our junior players build confidence, provides them with foundations for the correct technique right from the start and allows people of all ages and abilities to get into the sport.
