8&U, 9&U & 10&U Berkshire Novices Grand Prix Tournaments

Join us for our annual Junior Novice Tournament - Open to members and non-members.
The Berkshire Grand Prix series is now in its 3rd year of running, and is set up to help encourage players who are new to competing, to have a go in a safe, non-pressured environment.
How do I enter?
At Windsor, we will run events for 8&U, 9&U & 10&U (sponge, orange and green ball players). Please see links below to sign up via the LTA website.
WLTC Grand Slam Series - French Open

WHAT IS IT?
“The French Open” is part of the Windsor Grand Slam series. It will be run on the clay courts at Windsor Lawn Tennis Club, and we will be running it as a fun, social event. Please see below for details.
Please note that this tournament is for adult members only, if you are a midweek member you are not eligible to enter this event.
FORMAT
• Players will enter the tournament singularly
• Once entries close, the competition organisers will create pairs, and after each match you will be paired with a new partner - creating a fun, social environment for everyone to enjoy.
• We will be running this tournament as “mixed”, although not necessarily in the traditional sense….
• The number of games you win will be converted into points, and the top 4 players with the most points at the end of the group stages will compete in the final.
FOOD
Your entry fee will include a complimentary coffee or tea upon arrival. And there will be other food available to purchase at the bar for the duration of the tournament.

It is also important to remember that when you enter the event, you are committing to showing up and participating for the duration of the tournament. Please do not enter if you cannot commit to these terms.
