Our social team are planning other exciting events too which we will announce in due course. First up in February will be our AGM, on 22nd February, more information on that will be sent soon. Adult and Junior club sessions continue to run throughout the year, with excellent numbers attending so far, so don’t hesitate to get involved.

Thanks to all members who attended the recent Pickleball Masterclass Trial on 23rd January, we had a big turnout of 30 get their first taste of the fast-growing sport. Photos of the event are all included below, keep your eye out for another event in the near future. The new fitness mobility class, Tennis FLEX is being trialled at WLTC, and the first class was held in the Mustill Lounge this morning. Excellent turn out and some brilliant feedback already.

We’ve done a lot of Clay and Poraflex court maintenance over the last few months to help keep our outdoor courts in best condition through the winter. The recently completed floodlight upgrades (court 10 & 11) has now greatly improved the experience on court through the dark winter months. And don’t forget we have several exciting projects to look forward to in the next few months including the ladies and mens changing rooms refurbishment in April. Then followed by the very exciting project on court 11 where we’ll be resurfacing the Tarmac to Acrylic.

Keep an eye out for plenty more news and updates coming soon.

I wish you all a very happy 2022!

Jack Allan
Club Manager
