Thames Hospice – Charity Tournament

Dear All,

We are excited to announce the Thames Hospice Tournament (also known as the Kay Mustill Tournament) is now accepting entries! It will be held on Friday 15th March 10-12pm at WLTC on the indoor courts. Here is everything you need to know about how the event will run:

Timings

Players are asked to arrive for sign in at 9:30am, with the first round of matches to begin promptly at 10am.

All the matches will be completed before 12pm, and a light lunch and glass of wine (or soft drink) will be served after the final round.

Useful Info

Although we will do our best to keep to mixed/mens/ladies doubles, there may be times where we will be unable to do so. We will aim to keep the teams as fair as possible throughout each round as we want to give everybody a fun and enjoyable experience!

As this is a charity event, and based on feedback from last year, we have decided to run the ‘tournament’ as a matchplay. This means there will be no outright winners, but instead we are just getting as much tennis played as possible!

If you have any problems or questions prior to the day, please email Beci at competitions@active-tennis.co.uk

If you have any emergencies/problems (for example if you are running late or are unable to make it) on the day please contact Beci directly on 07799897699

PLEASE SIGN UP AT THE BAR TO SECURE YOUR PLACE

COST OF THE TOURNAMENT IS £20 PER PLAYER (with all proceeds going to the Thames Hospice Charity)
